Torrie Wilson and Trish Stratus - Fitness Women Wrestling

In 1999, "Samantha" debuted in WCW.
Of course "Samantha" was actually Torrie Wilson who would go on to work for the WWF/WWE and finally retire in 2008.
Before wrestling, Torrie won the Miss Galaxy competition in 1998 and was part of the Extreme Fitness Team, based in Orlando.
At the 1998 Miss Galaxy, she met Lisa Marie Varon who would go on to become Victoria and Tara in TNA.

March of 2000 saw the debut of fitness model turned wrestler Trish Stratus.
As a fitness model, Trish first showed up in the pages of MuscleMag International. then she got a cover and they signed her to a two year contract.
She did fitness modeling for about six months before showing up in the WWE.

And here are Torrie and Trish before either started wrestling, when they met at the Arnold Classic.

Unfortunately, thats about all I know about her.
There are lots of pictures of her online, but very little information.
Google's search even only turns up Na-Li Yang and Na-Li Yang muscle.
Hopefully, like with a few other fitness girls, posts like this will cause more info on her to pop up.

Torrie Wilson is Fit

42 year old Torrie Wilson.
Torrie Wilson fought anorexia nervosa and then bulimia for six years.
She overcame that and went into fitness where she placed third in her first competition, won the Miss Galaxy competition in 1998 and in the Women's Tri-Fitness Championships in 1998,  she won first place in the Grace and Physique round.
Then she went to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and after that, the WWF and WWE as a Diva.
She retired from wrestling in 2008 and as you can see, went back into fitness.

When she isn't competing, she is a physical therapist, business owner and certified acupuncturist.

Themis Klarides - 90's Fitness Models

Wow.
I think this is the coolest write up I have ever done on this blog.
I ran across some old pics of 90s fitness model Themis Klarides, and since I always thought that she was gorgeous, I decided to find out what she was doing now.
Well it seems that after being an incredible fitness model, she became a ring girl for the WWE.
So fitness...then pro wrestling.
But wait....there's more!

After that, Themis was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives in 1998.
She was re-elected in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012, and she served as the deputy minority leader from 2007 to 2014.
Now she is the current Republican Minority Leader in the Connecticut House of Representatives.
And still gorgeous!
This proves that you can do anything that you set your mind to.
