Monica Brant (born October 26, 1970) is an IFBB professional figure competitor and a former fitness competitor.
Originally born in Ft. Hood, Texas and raised on a 20 acre ranch in a small town outside of San Antonio called Castroville. Her mother is a professional horse training business and Monica started learning how to help her around the stables, riding and showing ponies and horses since the age of 5. By the time she was 14, she was giving riding lessons and training horses on her own with occasional advice from her mom. Along with volleyball and track in high school, she competed in many events: Western Pleasure, barrels and pole bending, English Pleasure, dressage, and Hunter/Jumper.
After Monica graduated, her love of horses took her to a fine arts college in Fulton, MO, where she studied basics and equestrian science for her first year. Unable to return for further studies in Missouri, Brant took classes at San Antonio College in Texas, and gave riding lessons at nearby stables. She also did promotional work for Budweiser, waitressed, and competed in bikini contests for extra funds.
In 1991, Monica started lifting weights with a friend and saw a photo of Marla Duncan winning a national competition. Her beauty and physique impressed her enough that she wanted to try what she was doing - Fitness Competitions. Up until 1995 she only competed for fun, not as a money making career. In 1994 she was honored with a Muscle & Fitness cover. This helped Monica realize that she had potential to earn some actual money in the fitness industry. After competing four times, in 1998, she won her first and only Fitness Olympia and made number 45 on covers of magazines, books, and calendars worldwide. Brant says that she had a wonderful time traveling across the country and internationally, and have met some really incredible people everywhere. After placing second twice after her 1998 victory, Monica retired from fitness competition citing the demand on gymnastics in order to win were too great for her.
Monica Brant had lasik surgery performed by Dr. Glenn Kawesch.

Jaime Franklin was born in Glen Dale, and grew up in Cameron in a small town in West Virginia. There in a small farm Jaime spent her days helping her family with the duties of the house. While growing up Franklin became a very active young woman; her parents were very active themselves and made sure her daughter would follow through their footsteps. From the beginning Jaime was surrounded in an athletic environment; her parents put her on gymnastics in order for her to use all her natural childhood energy in something productive. And while she enjoyed gymnastics and competing in the field, most her competitiveness came from practicing wrestling moves with her brother, Eric who on two occasions broke her arm. But this did not discourage Jaime who continued to practice wrestling moves with her brother and soon learned to defend herself.
As Jaime became older she became more serious about competing in gymnastics, but due to multiple injuries she was unable to compete and at the age of thirteen began to focus on started playing school sports. In school her best sport was track and field were in high school she set several records, including two Ohio Valley Athletic Conference track records for high hurdles and long jumps that are still standing to this day. Her athletic abilities helped Franklin helped earned an athletic scholarship to go to the Naval Academy in Maryland. After attending Naval Academy for three months, she left to West Virginia University in Morgantown where she majored in industrial and management systems and graduated summa cum laude.
A few years after graduation Franklin was on demand, she was traveling five days a week, working as a computer consultant and giving gymnastic lessons on the weekends. During a gymnastic session she tore her ACL and had to lay off traveling. With little to do she spent her time weight training in the gym. Soon many people were complimenting her physique and encouraged her to compete. Jaime decided to give it a world after seeing her first fitness contest. Jaime Franklin (born December 27, 1975) is a figure competitor from the United States.
Originally she was training to compete in fitness, but due to her injury decided to go to figure competitions. Her first competition was NPC Natural Northern Figure Competition where she took the overall. She continued to compete and within four months earned her pro card.

Don't know why exactly, but watch the video below and see what you think.

Davana Medina is a professional figure competitor from the United States. To Medina is the most successful figure competitor in the short history of the sport, winning the first three Figure Olympia titles to date.
Davana was born on January 28, 1974 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She entered and won her first figure competition, the NPC Bev Francis Atlantic States, one week after getting married.
With the support of her husband and friends Davana decided to dedicate eight weeks to her first show. She geared her training and dieting to a consistent program to get in the best shape of her life for the show. After winning her first show Davana decided to turn professional. Sadly her marriage did not last.
Davana turned professional after winning the first NPC Figure Nationals in 2001. However, there were no professional figure contests until 2003, so she was forced to take a year off from competition. She has been the most successful woman in figure competition, winning the first three Figure Olympias to date. Davana competes at 5'7" and 130 pounds, and currently lives in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
Davana says that her biggest inspiration has been her mother, who is very dedicated to everything that she does and taught her to do the same in her life. When the going gets tough, Davana usually relies on her mom to help her get through.
Recently Davana has remarried and was set to compete in the 2006 Ms. Figure Olympia, but due to health problems she was unable to defend her title. This was meant to be her last competition as Medina had stated her desire to retire from competition to start a family with her husband. Her sponsors released a statement through her website saying:
"Davana did not compete at the 2006 IFBB Figure Olympia to defend her title for a 4th consecutive time as a medical issue came up on Monday, September 25 and she was not able to compete. This was supposed to be her last show but she is undecided whether or not she will get back on stage to compete."*
Medina's training consists of simple compound movements with mostly free weights (she rarely uses cable exercises); she also rarely uses machines. She typically trains 6 days a week in the off-season (usually two body parts per day off-season, and only one body part per day on-season).
